Each year, RISKI sponsors the Rhode Island Giant Slalom.

Since 2000, the Race has been held at Wachusett Mountain in Princeton, MA. Prior to that it was held
at various ski resorts around the area. This Providence Journal article of Feb 2, 2001 explains
the history of this ever popular annual event.

Our Race of 2011 was once again a great success! Due to the cooperating weather and the great snow
conditions, a total of 47 racers participated in this year's race. Thank-you to all
who raced and to all of our sponsors.
